TASK-9 is an acronym for Trailing & Air-scenting Search K-9(s) and has been incorporated since 1997
and not-for-profit since 1998.
ABOUT TASK-9
The area's only volunteer organization specializing in the use of both scent trailing
and generic air-scenting dogs to search for
missing persons.
TASK-9 Mission Statement: To provide the
community with a proficient certified search
resource, which is primarily canine (K-9), and
to educate the community in the use of that
resource.
TASK-9 is an all volunteer tax-exempt 501 (c) (3)
nonprofit charitable organization.
TASK-9 's purpose is to provide, without cost to
official requesting agencies, the services of its
membership in lost and missing person searches.
TASK-9 is fully insured and a NASAR Member
"That Others May Live"
